Beyonce to perform at Fashion Rock Benefit Concert

Beyonce is set to perform at this year’s Fashion Rock event alongside 15 of the hottest female singers in the industry, including Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Sheryl Crow, Fergie, Rihanna, Ashanti, Miley Cyrus, Keyshia Cole, Carrie Underwood, LeAnn Rimes, Leona Lewis, Melissa Etheridge and Natasha Bedingfield. The event is scheduled on September 5, wherein the artists would perform the song, “Just Stand Up” live that would air simultaneously on NBC, CBS and ABC.

In the meantime, the song “Just Stand Up” would be available for iTunes on September 2. “Stand Up to Cancer” is a program founded in 2007 by the Entertainment Industry Foundation that promotes cancer awareness and fund-raising programs. Other celebrities, such as Jennifer Aniston, Sally Field, Salma Hayek, Forest Whitaker, Reese Witherspoon, Meryl Streep, Lance Armstrong and Katie Couric would also be in the hour-long program.
