Beyonce Knowles born as Beyonce Giselle Knowles on September 4th, 1981 is a famous African-American multi-faceted personality.
A beautiful melodious singer, Beyonce Knowles is also a wonderful lyricist, record producer, actress, model and fashion designer. She is also the creator of worldwide fame "Destiny's Child" an all R&B girl group, which sold over fifty million records worldwide. She is the lead singer and led the Group from the front. Beyonce ceaseless efforts at creating musical concepts, her attention to the minutest details in vocal arrangements and other processes have formed the basis for her ethical work culture. This very work culture has become the basis for her artistic vision – a rock-like foundation on which "Destiny's Child" is built.
Destiny's Child was formed along with LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett, but the latter two were soon replaced by Kelly Rowland and Michelle. Her father Mathew Knowles effectively manages "Destiny's Child" organizing the events while her mother Tina Knowles designs costumes for the Group members and sister Solange participates in the Group's events and concerts. The Group produced many soul-stirring and foot-tapping numbers that won several notable awards including Grammy Awards. In fact, Destiny's Child breathed fire into the contemporary pop and R&B music enthralling millions of its fans across the globe. The Group hit the limelight in 1998 with the self-titled debut album, "Destiny's Child".
Mathew Knowles and Destiny’s Child performed in local events and toured for four years before they eventually grabbed a record deal with Columbia Records in late 1997. Before the year ended, the group recorded their debut song, “Killing Time” for the soundtrack of Will Smith’s 1997 action film, ‘Men in Black’.
In 2002, Beyonce Knowles starred in the movie, “The Fighting Temptations” with Cuba Gooding Jr. and worked with MC Lyte, Free and Missy Elliott to record “Fighting Temptation” for the movie’s soundtrack. Beyonce also participated in Jay-Z’s single, “03 Bonnie & Clyde”, remade 50 Cent’s “In Da Club” and won a Grammy Award when she remade the song “The Closer I Get to You” with Luther Vandross.
